Purpose of the ministry: to proclaim the truth of Christ through writing, teaching, and consulting; to encourage churches to reach the culture with the gospel, and to train leaders in the church for combatting the Enemy that seeks to destroy the gospel of truth.
MINISTRY VERSES
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him (Col. 3:17)
Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood (Acts 20:28).
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain (1 Cor. 15:58).
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
PHILOSOPHY
The philosophical intent behind the ministry is twofold: (1) educate and encourage laity and church leadership; and (2) train leaders to love their sheep, confront problems appropriately, and seek the mind of Christ for their church. Congregants are to grow in Christ and demonstrate grace by loving and encouraging others. Leaders are to be cognizant of spiritual warfare, for the enemy desires an ineffective gospel outreach. A conflicted church is a neutralized church in the war for souls.
The Goals: (1) to produce written material for Bible study and elder training; (2) to help leaders shepherd their people and confront the tactics of the enemy who seeks disruption of ministry through gossip and conflict.
And we proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ (Colossians 1:28).
